POWERPLAY P16-I
The Behringer P16-I is a Powerplay 16 Series input module offering power and multichannel signal distribution for personal mixing stations in recording studios and live stage applications. With 16 balanced 1/4" TRS inputs and two 8-channel optical inputs, the P16-I can accept line-level outputs from an analog mixer or ADAT outputs from a digital mixer. 24-bit A/D converters deliver analog-to-digital conversion at full audio fidelity and ultra-low latency.
The RJ45 Ultranet outputs accommodate up to six P16-M personal mixers (available separately), making it ideal for bands and ensembles. When utilizing the analog inputs, each channel's gain may be optimized via a row of 4-position switches while signal and clip LEDs help you avoid distortion. This input module features an internal autorange power supply for international operation, and includes an IEC power cable. The P16-I is designed for use with shielded Cat5e cables (available separately).
ADAT-Ready
The P16-I includes a 2 x 8-channel ADAT optical input with auto detect and priority select for use with Behringer's existing ADAT equipment. Additionally, 16 balanced, high-headroom TRS audio inputs can be employed to send audio from analog outputs to your P16-Ms. You can choose from 4 gain positions per channel via a convenient onboard switch, and visually monitor by means of the status LEDs on each channel. Sample rates of 44.1 or 48 kHz are supported by the digital inputs, providing ultra-low latency of less than 1 millisecond. Standard Cat 5e cabling delivers power and signals for up to 6 P16-M Personal Monitoring Mixers, or you can use the included external supplies with each P16-M. Plus, the P16-I features an internal auto-ranging power supply for maximum flexibility (100 – 240 V~), noise-free audio, superior transient response and low power consumption.
